DRIVER SPEED FEEDBACK DISPLAY
DRIVER SPEED FEEDBACK WARNINGS … by providing a feedback to the driver of his speed and indicating a violation of the speed limit by changing the readout from solid to flashing, the SFD provides a very effective rotational portable traffic calming device.
Dorman Varitext offer two sizes of model a 12” AC or solar powered unit for semi permanent install and a 6” battery powered unit for portable tripod mounted interactive short term deployment.
The SFD comes equipped with data logger and scheduler as standard and can be simply configured once installed using the Bluetooth™ wireless application shown below
Programmable Activation Threshold speed
This is the lowest speed the SFD will display, vehicles travelling below it will still be logged.
Programmable Speed limit indication
If activated (>0) this is the speed limit threshold. If this is exceeded by an approaching vehicle the display will flash the measured speed. If the vehicles speed is equal or below the threshold, the actual speed will be displayed normally.
Programmable Speed display Cap
If activated (>0) this is the maximum speed the SFD will display. If a vehicle exceeds this value the display is blanked.
