The Interactive Mobile VMS (i-MOB) has been uniquely developed by Dorman Varitext to educate drivers. With a range of operational modes, i-MOB has a variety of uses. Acting as a vehicle calming sign, i-MOB uses Smile/Frown pictograms and ‘YOUR SPEED’ readout to warn drivers, increasing dangerous driving awareness. Another typical operation is to use i-MOB to interactively communicate to drivers. Using a remote, the operator can target messages to specific drivers. Overall, i-MOB can improve road safety without incurring any negative action upon road users. I-Mob can stand alone or temporarily attach to lamp posts, complete with its own battery power supply and remote operation. |
