To enable equal service provision to customers along the entire bus route, Dorman Varitext has developed a real time passenger information display that is incorporated into the design of a flag pole sign at bus stops without shelters. The compact design comes as standard with a three lines of ten character format, without losing any of the innovative features of the larger bus shelter display. Flag signs can be supplied fight or left sided, or even double sided where required, and are delivered complete with fixed service information printed onto the stylish flag enclosure. Our flag display has an attractive three sided (rounded) post, with option to add printed timetable information on a notice board at customer level. As well as incorporating the market leading audio announcement solution, with digital programming facility, our displays are crammed with other innovations, including the anti-vandal blanking feature; The most recent innovation has been our successful implementation of a solid state backlight for our LCD solutions, which eradicates the requirement for fluorescent tubes, and therefore increases product reliability and service periods, with obvious benefits in terms of reduced maintenance costs.
